Description

JET BITE is a high-quality dental impression material designed for precise bite registration in dentistry, specifically formulated with A-silicone technology and intended for use with automatic mixing devices. This ISO 4823 Type 1, high consistency material is categorized as a polyvinylsiloxane, addition-type compound. The base is identifiable by its yellow color, while the catalyst is white.

This product is primarily indicated for capturing centric occlusion during dental procedures, ensuring accurate bite alignment. Importantly, when used as directed, JET BITE has no known contraindications or harmful interactions with patients or dental personnel. It is biologically compatible, minimizing any potential side effects.

JET BITE is simple to use, dispensed directly onto the lower teeth's occlusal surface while aligning the mandible into central occlusion. Temperature variations can affect its setting time. Once set, any imperfections or voids should be addressed before articulating the models. Trimming gingival contact is essential to prevent rebound and ensure proper seating.

This versatile material can be applied using both "closed mouth" and "pre-occluded" techniques, providing flexibility in dental procedures. It's crucial to maintain a contaminant-free environment and avoid latex gloves or latex glove-contaminated surfaces. Additionally, substances containing eugenol or hemostatic compounds may interfere with setting, and rinsing after hydrogen peroxide disinfection is recommended.

Features

Smooth mousse-like consistency - No resistance to closure, no rebound
High dimensional stability - No distortion
Less brittle - Easy to grind and cut
Saves time - Minimizes occlusal adjustments
